Position : Student Recruitment Coordinator (administrative profile) Location : Montreal Salary : $50,000 to $55,000 + benefits Job Type : 14-month (maternity leave replacement) Schedule : Hybrid (3 days in-office downtown, 2 days remote) Job Description : Our client, a prominent law firm is currently seeking a Student Recruitment Coordinator for the Legal Personnel and Professional Development Department on a contractual basis for maternity leave replacement at their Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities : - Assist the marketing team with preparing advertisements for sponsorship activities with law faculties or student associations and committees.

  • Process sponsorship and donation invoices from civil law faculties. - Organize recruitment activities at our office or law faculties, including ordering food, reserving rooms, following up with participants, and arranging necessary materials.
  • Register the firm for career days at civil law faculties and coordinate logistics for participation in these events. - Post job offers and handle a high volume of applications during the main recruitment period and coop recruitment.
  • Assist with organizing activities related to the recruitment process, such as interviews, documentation for interviewers, candidate reception, and recruitment dinners.
  • Plan the orientation, training, and integration of summer students and interns, including social activity calendars for summer students.
  • Process registration and tuition fees for students with the Bar School and communicate with the Bar School on these matters.
  • Prepare and communicate required documents for Bar School registration, intern evaluation, and admission to the Bar. - Assist the HR team with background checks for interns or summer students.
  • Coordinate the arrival and departure of summer students and interns. - Collaborate with the Marketing / Communications team to ensure the Montreal office's Instagram page is updated and active.
  • Update the recruitment budget. - Follow up and evaluate interns and students at the Montreal office. - Participate in other projects or perform other office tasks as needed.

Skills : - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent bilingual written and verbal communication skills for communication with head office in Toronto - Outstanding customer service skills - Ability to manage emergencies and prioritize tasks - Ability to handle multiple files simultaneously - Flexibility and availability for occasional overtime during peak periods Please send your resume in Word format to Maia Slivinschi at maia.
