I am currently working with a Reinsurance company looking for a Director of Risk Analytics & Financial Modeling who will play a critical role in managing the risk analytics, models, and databases to ensure the effective assessment and management of risks.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain financial modeling and analytical tools for risk assessment.
- Database management for tracking quantitative reports on risk solutions.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish research objectives.
- Communicate complex analytical concepts internally and externally.
- Advise senior management on risk-related matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Manage third-party IT and database providers.
Qualifications :
- 5-10+ years of progressive experience in banking, insurance, or investments.
- Advanced financial modeling expertise.
- Database management for underwriting and risk surveillance.
- Proficiency in EXCEL, VBA, SAS, SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field with a preference for mathematics (Postgraduate degree preferred).
