Shift : 40 hours / week - Float Schedule - Flexibility Required

Pay Rate : $37.90 / hour

Description

The Linehaul Driver drives to / from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt, trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to / from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Responsibilities

Drive to / from customer locations

Safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)

Pick up and deliver freight to / from warehouse or package depot and / or customer locations and meet service level agreements

Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch

Pick up, deliver, and load / unload freight at customer locations

Scans freight upon pickup and delivery

Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor - 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer - 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)

Experience

Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record

3 years of Class A driving experience
