Our client, a global, custom fabricator, is looking to hire technical manager to lead their cost estimation team.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in cost estimation in custom fabrication industries paired with proven leadership experience.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain standard processes and templates to ensure consistency of quotes and compliance with company standards
• Analyze projects post completion, usings lessons learned to drive improvements in future estimation activities
• Work with leadership team to improve pricing strategies, ensuring projects are both competitively priced and profitable
• Lead, manage and develop a team of cost estimators
• Establish priorities, plan work, and manage performance of team
• Partner with sales, engineering, procurement and operations teams to gather information and provide accurate quotes and timelines to customers
• Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for customer projects
