eCommerce Category Partner, Role Accountabilities
Monitor sales, margin and inventory operations for the ecommerce channels including ship to home, buy online and ship to store, and Instacart through detailed financial analysis coupled with the execution of operational tasks including product management.
Produce thorough financial analysis to support the digital assortment listing process, prioritizing profitability of all ecommerce channels and limiting risk to overall business.
Collect and share inventory insights that support the inventory quantification process. Plan and execute the inventory quantification process as required with oversight and approval provided by leadership.
Audit financial and margin performance, recommending and executing price adjustments while scheduling promotional activities like ad events and markdown management.
Design reports that provide clarity on the financial performance of the ecommerce channels including instacart to help inform the strategic decisions that align to the overall omni channel strategy.
Ex. inventory availability and performance, transaction reconciliation, sales and margin analysis etc.
Plan marketing opportunities based on inventory investment and seasonal planning, acting as a primary contact for marketing and merchandising teams.
Coordinate with cross functional stakeholders, responding to franchisees with urgency and provide guidance to our fulfillment team, replenishment team, finance, and merchandising groups to ensure execution of cohesive strategy across the organization.
eCommerce Category Partner, Preferred Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management and / or related experience.
5+ years in Category Management / Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics and / or Operations Management
Knowledge of category and inventory management processes and best practices
Margin and product markdown management and execution experience
Ability to audit data and prepare reports and summaries as required
Analytical and trouble shooting skills to resolve complex problems
Strong communication skills
Detail oriented
eCommerce Category Partner, Assets
Category Management or Store Management experience a large asset
Experience with inventory management systems, ex. AS400
Experience working with Instacart or other third party sales channels
Microsoft Office experience
Experience using Google Analytics / Looker an added bonus
