Our client is a globally respected food organization with a strong presence across major Canadian retailers. They are seeking a Key Account Manager to own and grow strategic retail partnerships, driving profitable growth through strong customer relationships, disciplined execution, and data-driven planning.
Essentials Functions: - Own the commercial relationship for assigned key retail accounts, delivering volume, profitability, and share growth
- Build and execute customer business plans aligned with brand, category, and corporate objectives
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, developing strong relationships across merchandising, operations, supply chain, and finance
- Lead account strategy using performance, pricing, promotional, and shopper insights
- Manage pricing and trade investment strategies to ensure effective promotional execution and ROI
- Drive distribution, shelf presence, and execution across the full product portfolio
- Work with retail execution teams to support merchandising, pricing, and in-store compliance
- Monitor competitive activity and in-store execution to identify risks and growth opportunities
- Support forecasting and demand planning through ongoing analysis of shipments, inventory, and sales data
- Provide regular performance updates and business reviews
What we're looking for: - Experience in Key Account Management or Sales within CPG or a related consumer-driven industry
- Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written) ideal
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and analytical skills
- Experience building and executing customer business plans
- Results-driven, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence both internally and externally
- Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required
