Job Description

Java Developer Duration : 1 year

Location : Remote

Security Requirement : Hold or eligible for reliability clearance Tasks : Under the direction of the Assistant Director :

Support large and small project initiatives, including bug fixes.
Develop and maintain Java full stack applications, focusing on Oracle WebLogic and Oracle database components.
Collaborate with the scrum team to complete assigned tasks.
Provide third-line support for the application after gaining sufficient product knowledge.
Perform other related tasks and deliverables as needed.

Requirements :

University degree or College diploma in computer science or equivalent experience.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Java development environment.

Minimum of three (3) years of development experience using JEE applications (EJB, Servlet, JDBC, JMS, JMX, JTA, JCA, JAXB).

Experience in web GUI design and development with technologies such as Thymeleaf, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax / jQuery.

Proficiency in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Security, and Bean Validation.

Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and tools like Junit, Mockito, and Arquillian.

Strong relational database skills (SQL), including writing stored procedures and PL / SQL using tools like SQL Plus / SQL Developer.

Additional Qualifications :

Experience with WebLogic server development and configuration.

Experience in financial, banking, and / or capital markets environments.

Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

Knowledge of Scrum methodology and participation in all phases of the iterative process
