Our Ottawa based client is currently looking for a Web Software Developer.
Remote / Contract
Web Development Experience
Demonstrated knowledge of writing HTML and PHP code in enterprise applications.
Experience integrating front-end web applications with MySQL database.
Preferred if experienced with CSS and JavaScript.
Web Frameworks
Knowledge of Symphony and related framework.
Knowledge of RAMI and related framework.
Knowledge of Zend and related framework.
Database
Experience working with MySQL queries.
Experience maintaining and changing MySQL database tables, structure, etc.
Preferred if experienced with MariaDB.
Source Control
Experience working using GIT.
Preferred if experience using Bitbucket.
Other
Written and verbal communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem solving.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proven track record for building strong working relationships.
Participate in Agile meetings.
Must haves:
– Experience with PHP, MySQL, symphony, rami, Zend, and Git (Bitbucket) repositories
– Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development
