Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in the Step Down Unit!

Location : Rochester, NY

Assignment Duration : October 28, 2024 – January 25, 2025

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact? We invite you to bring your talents to our top-notch Step Down Unit in Rochester, NY, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care.

Shift : Rotating Day / Night Shifts

Eligibility : We are seeking passionate professionals from outside a 50-mile radius of Rochester. In this dynamic role, you’ll work every other weekend and holiday, immersing yourself in our collaborative and supportive environment. Flexibility to float to other units as needed is a plus.

Required Certifications :

  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

About the Unit :

You will join our specialized Medical Step Down / Pulmonary Unit, where you’ll handle :

  • Advanced invasive monitoring
  • New, rescue, and continuous Non-Invasive Positive Pressure Ventilation (NIPPV)
  • Management of new tracheostomies
  • Ventilator care with endotracheal tubes (ETT)
  • Transvenous pacing
