A successful Directory Services Administrator candidate will have :
- A solid understanding of client / server, networking and internet fundamentals
- A solid understanding of Windows server 2012 or Higher
- A solid understanding of Active Directory Administration
- A solid understanding of GPOs, Account management, domains and trusts, DNS, DHCP and server management
- A strong understanding of powershell scripting
- A solid understanding of Active Directory Domains and Trusts
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
The ideal candidate will have :
Experience with a hybrid environment that contains on-prem and cloud serversExtensive working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Windows server deploymentA strong troubleshooting background with the ability to assist with troubleshooting complex problems and issues with little to no supervision.Group Policy Administrator (GPA) understandingExperience with STIG and patching complianceExperience with managing an Enterprise Level EnvironmentExperience with VMWare virtualization technologiesAzure cloud environment experienceStrong mentorship skillsKey Tasks & Responsibilities
Server management to include deployment, management of security posture, and verifying core servicesAccount management to include group, permissions, and basic configurationGPO Management using NetIQ Group Policy Administrator(GPA) and native toolsRSAT tool experienceDNS record managementDHCP Server configuration and managementPatching and DISA STIGing server to maintain required complianceSites and services managementRemedy ticketing systemManage servers in VMWare virtual environmentsTroubleshooting core services to include replication and domain trustsPowershell Script deployment and creationEducation & Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 2 years of related experience in :Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Server or higher deploymentDomain Controller deployment, configuration and managementAccount management using Active directory on-prem and Azure cloud environmentsServer management to include Microsoft Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022Certifications
Required :Security+, or other qualifying IAT II certification.Microsoft AZ-900 : Azure Fundamentals or ability to obtain within 90 days.Desired :Microsoft AZ-800 : Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core InfrastructureSecurity Clearance
Desired : Active Secret ClearanceRequired : Applicants must have eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance.Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
The primary shift for this position is Sunday - Thursday, 0700 - 1530; however, this is a 24 / 7 / 365 mission, and the ability to support Day, Swing, and Mid operations is required. If a temporary schedule change is required to support operations, you will be provided with as much notice as the situation allows.Certification requirements are subject to change at the government's direction.
