Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Sales & Marketing Assistant will play a critical role as part of the Sales & Marketing team. Will assist in marketing strategies, brand awareness, social media and media coordination for our jet boating location in Queenston, ON

Aspiring influencers! Our Sales & Marketing Assistants are the face of our brand – creating content for social media, engaging with guests, and meeting journalists are just a few of their many hats. Creativity is the name of the game and they are always coming up with new ways to share jetboating with the world. For this position, you must be an out-of-the-box thinker who loves telling a good story. The ability to create new TikTok trends is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of the Sales and Marketing Plan, supporting initiatives to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales and Marketing, including scheduling, communication, and organization of materials.
• Execute the Social Media Marketing Calendar and Plan by acquiring, editing, and curating digital content.
• Brainstorm and propose innovative campaign ideas to enhance engagement and brand visibility across platforms.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all marketing efforts align with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
• Uphold brand standards in all communications and marketing materials to maintain a consistent and professional image.
• Liaise with the company’s Public Relations firm to exchange information, provide promotional materials, and support PR campaigns.
• Greet and assist media representatives during interviews and film shoots, ensuring a positive experience and successful execution.
• Identify opportunities for new business and collaborate with the team to conduct sales activities and develop sales strategies.
• Build relationships with potential partners and clients to support revenue growth.
• Respond to inquiries and reviews on multiple platforms, providing professional and timely communication to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform data entry and assist in generating monthly reports to track marketing and sales performance metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
• Support the team with other tasks and projects as required to ensure smooth operations and successful execution of campaigns.

Ideal Candidate

• Completed or currently completing a degree or diploma in marketing, social media, public relations or a similar field
• Excellent oral communication – confident when speaking in person and on the phone with guests, clients and media
• Some experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiar with social media and review platforms, specifically; Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Reviews and TripAdvisor
• Punctuality and respect for time constraints and demands when serving large numbers of people
• Fluency in other languages is an asset
