Trax is an AI-powered startup revolutionizing the AEC industry. Our tech stack spans Node.js, Vue.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure, Kubernetes, and more. We're seeking a hands-on, senior tech lead with 8+ years of experience to drive architecture, coding, and team development in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership : Define and drive our architecture and tech strategy, ensuring robust, scalable systems.
  • Hands-On Coding : Actively code across the stack, perform code reviews, and set high development standards.
  • Project Oversight : Plan sprints, manage backlogs, and collaborate with CTO, Product Manager and Designer.
  • DevOps & Quality : Oversee CI / CD pipelines, cloud deployments (Azure and GCP), and maintain system reliability.
  • Innovation : Stay current with industry trends and continuously introduce improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience : 8+ years in software development.
  • Technical Expertise : Proven skills in large-scale system architecture; hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Azure, and Kubernetes.
  • Agile Mindset : Comfortable working in a startup environment with rapid iteration and change.
  • Communication : Excellent at translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • AEC Insight : Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction domain.
  • Advanced DevOps : Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and enhanced security practices.
  • AI / ML Exposure : Experience integrating AI or machine learning into products.
  • Startup Background : Prior experience in early-stage startups or scale-up environments.
