Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver

We are presently seeking a casual Recreation Therapy Worker | Bus Driver to join our long-term care recreation team at Gateby in Vernon, BC.

Your Role

In this dynamic role, you'll lead and facilitate a variety of individual and group leisure / recreation therapy programs, including arts, sports, music, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass setting up and organizing program spaces, assisting residents in participation, and collaborating with nursing staff and therapists to ensure a seamless experience. Additionally, you'll accompany residents on outings, ensuring their safety and enjoyment while confirming program details with relevant team members.

Casual Employment Opportunities

This casual position offers flexible work hours ranging from zero to 37.5 hours per week, with shifts available during the day and evening. Casual employees can apply for permanent part-time or full-time positions internally, providing avenues for career growth within Interior Health.
