About The Job

Our partner is a company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-tech metal components for the aviation industry. We are looking for CNC machinists who will be responsible for producing cutting-edge components for the aerospace sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • Operates up to three specialized machines to produce parts according to drawings, router packaging, specifications and / or special instructions.
  • Recognizes and detects out-of-tolerance machines and adjusts controls or checking fixtures as required.
  • Performs basic tests to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
  • Verifies conformity of parts to specifications using gauges, SPC and shop system.
  • Recognizes and remedies minor machine adjustments and in-process inspections. Significant deviations are reported to the manager or supervisor.
  • Performs work operations under supervision.
  • Checks tooling and reworks if necessary to maintain machine in working order.
  • Arranges parts for successive and continuous machining operations.
  • Examines products for compliance with quality standards, following drawings or work instructions.
  • Participates in and complies with LEAP and APU / GAP standards.
  • Participate and engage in PSM1 meetings, reporting any ongoing and long-term issues you encounter.
  • Support actions concerning projects and workshops.
  • Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping and observe all safety rules.

OUR OFFER

  • A starting salary of $20.00 / hour, to 24.00$ / h based on experience
  • Day training schedule, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Shift (B) Day : Wednesday to Saturday & Thursday to Saturday, from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM

  • Our Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use shop and measuring tools.
