About The Job
Our partner is a company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-tech metal components for the aviation industry. We are looking for CNC machinists who will be responsible for producing cutting-edge components for the aerospace sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Operates up to three specialized machines to produce parts according to drawings, router packaging, specifications and / or special instructions.
- Recognizes and detects out-of-tolerance machines and adjusts controls or checking fixtures as required.
- Performs basic tests to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
- Verifies conformity of parts to specifications using gauges, SPC and shop system.
- Recognizes and remedies minor machine adjustments and in-process inspections. Significant deviations are reported to the manager or supervisor.
- Performs work operations under supervision.
- Checks tooling and reworks if necessary to maintain machine in working order.
- Arranges parts for successive and continuous machining operations.
- Examines products for compliance with quality standards, following drawings or work instructions.
- Participates in and complies with LEAP and APU / GAP standards.
- Participate and engage in PSM1 meetings, reporting any ongoing and long-term issues you encounter.
- Support actions concerning projects and workshops.
- Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping and observe all safety rules.

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Minimum 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use shop and measuring tools.
