Position Type : Six (6) month Term

Location : Any NBCC Location

Salary : $2,725.00 to $3,293.00 bi-weekly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or other related field with recent and related experience, including experience in developing curriculum, instructional design materials and / or online course development.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design principles and experience developing curriculum, preferably in a fast-paced and / or post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Curriculum, the Learning Design Consultant (LDC) is responsible for assisting in the development and review of curriculum and assessments for a new series of NBCC programs and online courses. They provide support, facilitation, and guidance in the area of curriculum and competency-based evaluation and provide assistance with the creation of curriculum-related standards, policies, and procedures.

This position is a unionized position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NBUPPE - Administrative and Program Support Services, Education Consultation and Development and Information Technology Collective Agreement for the College.
