Our client is sourcing a Senior Finance Specialist - ERP Implementation for a 7-8-Month Contract.

About the Opportunity

• Assist with migrating financial data from legacy systems into ERP

Support the configuration and validation of finance, accounting, and expense processes within Workday, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements

Work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of ERP with other financial and business systems

Assist in developing training materials and documentation for Finance users to ensure a smooth transition to ERP

Provide support during ERP go-live, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure finance processes are operational with minimal disruptions

Support Finance team members in adopting ERP, providing hands-on training and troubleshooting to ensure an efficient transition. Perform full cycle accounting tasks, including tracking expenses, managing accruals, and maintaining business assets within ERP

Assist with the automated bank reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy in balance sheet reconciliations and third-party data integrations

Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes, identifying and addressing system- related challenges as needed

Collaborate with key stakeholders (Finance, IT, Operations) to gather and validate financial data, resolve issues, and ensure accurate reporting

Provide supporting documentation and prepare schedules for quarterly and annual financial statements, including reconciliation schedules

About You

4+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial systems implementation

Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) required

Experience working with ERP systems

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)

Strong communication skills
