Our client, is seeking a Senior Assurance Manager to join their growing team in Niagara Region, ON.
This role is ideal for a seasoned public accountant who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and client collaboration in a flexible and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and CAS standards.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and review work for accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering growth and professional development.
• Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing actionable financial insights.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to enhance assurance processes and implement improvements.
• Stay current with accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
• Participate in special projects, including process innovation and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum – years of experience in Public Accounting (required).
• CPA designation or actively pursuing (required).
• Proven experience leading audits and reviewing NTRs, reviews, and audits.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and CAS principles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Proficient with accounting and audit software; strong Excel knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
