General Production Worker

Assembly Technician

Location: Gananoque, ON

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will support the production of critical medical device components. In this role, you will assemble and inspect high‑precision sensors in a clean room environment, ensuring that every product meets strict FDA‑regulated standards. This position includes rotation through day, afternoon, and overnight shifts, with tasks performed both seated and standing along the production line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sensors and components for medical devices with consistent accuracy.
• Rotate through day, afternoon, and overnight shifts as scheduled.
• Set up wiring on devices and perform detailed quality checks.
• Work with extremely small parts (., parts comparable in size to eyeglass screws).
• Maintain strict attention to detail during all inspection and assembly processes.
• Follow clean room protocols and comply with FDA documentation requirements.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in production, assembly, or general labor.
• Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity to work with small components.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods.
• Comfortable working with small, delicate assembly parts.
• Ability to complete extensive FDA documentation in English.
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and adherence to standardized processes.

• 9‑month full‑time opportunity
• 2‑2‑3 12‑hour shift rotation (7 AM–7 PM), alternating between days and nights every two weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Gananoque, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
