We are seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant to join our Atmospheric Sciences practice in Fredericton, NB. In this role, you will primarily support our stack emissions testing team, traveling to industrial facilities across Atlantic Canada to conduct emissions testing in accordance with regulatory guidelines and approved test methods. You will also assist with related data analysis and technical reporting. Direct experience is not required. We are seeking an individual with a diverse mix of field-based and desktop experience who is a quick learner and a strong problem solver. If you bring solid hands-on skills along with technical writing and analytical abilities, we will provide training on the technical aspects of the role.
As part of this role, you will collaborate with a team of highly experienced air quality scientists, engineers, and technical specialists, contributing to the delivery of high-quality consulting services for clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond.
This position is well suited to a motivated, organized, and technically inclined individual with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills who is eager to build a career in environmental consulting. The role offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment with opportunities to learn, develop technical expertise, and work on projects throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond. A willingness to travel is essential.
In addition to emissions testing, there will be opportunities to support a variety of other environmental field services as needed, including acoustic, aquatic, archaeological, and remediation field surveys, as well as desktop-based work such as data analysis and report preparation.
