The City of Bramptons Heartbeats in Performing Arts program is a co-op and internship for Indigenous and Black youth. The program increases opportunities for local Black and Indigenous youth to gain meaningful experience and / or employment in the arts while celebrating students cultures enhancing cultural understanding and enabling student success. It aligns with the following City of Brampton priorities :

• Performing Arts : contribute to a diverse and flourishing arts and culture ecology in Brampton
