The Sarnia manufacturing facility is the headquarters for ARLANXEO Canada Inc. with a Global Research & Development Centre for Butyl Rubber found in London Ontario. Focused on the production of synthetic rubber the Sarnia facility is a major supplier to both domestic and international markets and employs over 300 employees.

Responsibilities :

• Repair and overhaul pumps compressors turbines extruders and other mechanical equipments as specified standards recommended by the equipment manuals
• Perform maintenance tasks involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
• Consult manuals and drawings to extract relevant machine specifications and work procedures
• Clean lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on a variety of machinery and equipment
• Working knowledge of breakdown preventive predictive and proactive maintenance programs vibration analysis machinery balancing and alignment techniques
• Work accurately with numbers particularly when fitting bearings and aligning gears or shafts to operate and interpret readings from electronic measuring devices
• Work independently and with others to solve mechanical and technical problems
• Set up and operation of welding brazing and soldering equipment
• Remove and install machinery onto bases and within piping systems
• Document repairs and prepare maintenance reports
