Job Description
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking an individual for a permanent 1.0 FTE Radiation Oncologist as a full time Clinical Radiation Oncologist. The qualified candidate will be working as part of care teams, including nurses, pharmacists, radiation therapists, clinical associates, dietary, speech-language, social work, volunteers and other oncology and affiliated physician colleagues. Each department operates Varian equipment and planning software, including truebeam linear accelerators with MLC, OBI and cone beam imaging. CT simulator with a Siemens Somatom Confidence unit. There is an active HDR gynecologic brachytherapy program, HDR prostate brachytherapy program, and established SRS brain and SBRT lung programs with expansion to other sites. The oncologists are members of clinical trial groups including Alliance, NCIC, CTG and NRG, and are involved in teaching medical students and residents.

A competitive compensation package is offered and will be commensurate with experience. Salary range for this position is $387,661to $500,281, plus benefits.
The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency oncologists are eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Oncology, College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Additional incentives to be determined.
