Key Responsibilities :
- Implementation & Configuration :
Deploy and configure Digital Guardian solutions across endpoints, networks, and servers.
Customize policies to enforce data classification, encryption, and access controls aligned with organizational security frameworks.Integrate Digital Guardian with existing IT and security tools, ensuring seamless operation.Policy Management & Optimization :Design and implement DLP policies to monitor, detect, and prevent unauthorized data access or exfiltration.
Regularly review and refine security policies based on evolving organizational needs and threat landscapes.Collaborate with stakeholders to align security configurations with business objectives and compliance requirements.Monitoring & Incident Response :Utilize Digital Guardian's management console to monitor and analyze security events.
Investigate security incidents detected by DG and provide detailed incident reports and remediation strategies.Implement preventive measures to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.Troubleshooting & Support :Provide Level 2 / 3 support for Digital Guardian-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
Work with the vendor's support team to escalate and resolve complex issues when needed.Develop and maintain troubleshooting documentation and knowledge bases for internal use.Training & Documentation :Train IT and security teams on Digital Guardian capabilities, policies, and usage best practices.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including system configurations, policy definitions, and incident response protocols.Provide reports and dashboards to management highlighting key performance metrics and security insights.Qualifications :
Education & Experience :Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Digital Guardian solutions, including endpoint and DLP modules.Strong background in endpoint security, data protection, and compliance frameworks.Technical Skills :Expertise in Digital Guardian policy creation, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of data classification, encryption, and data loss prevention concepts.Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems as they relate to endpoint security.Experience with Active Directory, SIEM tools, and integration with enterprise security solutions.Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance requirements.Certifications (Preferred) :Digital Guardian Certified Administrator or similar certification.
CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other relevant security certifications.Soft Skills :Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
