What you will bedoing :
- Review the dailyBEO with the CDP or Sous Chef and prepare the necessary food itemsin accordance with Fairmont standards in a timely and efficientmanner
- Kitchen maintenance andcleaning. Following food safetyrequirements.
- Maintaining proper rotation ofproduct in all chillers to minimizespoilage
- Follow all safety and sanitationpolicies when handling food
- Ensure that allfood products are handled stored prepared and served safely inaccordance with hotel and Food Safety guidelines.
Ensure that allECOSURE standards and processes are completed on a daily basis thisincludes but isnt limited to filling out daily temperature logslabelling and dating of items as well ensuring food storage areasare cleaned daily.
- Food preparation and cookingplating presentation
- Apply 5 Diamond and 5 StarService Standards at alltimes
Qualifications :
Yourexperience and skillsinclude :
- Creative andpassionate about food and customer service
- Ableto work in a highpressure environment
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills; a teamplayer.
- Completion of a recognized culinaryprogram
- Must be Food SafeCertified
- A neat wellgroomed appearance as perhotel standards
- Must be available to work avariety of shifts including evenings weekends andholidays
- Previous experience in a luxury hotelenvironment is an asset
- Career minded withstrong personal initiative and a desire to achieve the departmentsvision andgoal
