Heavy Equipment Technician – $47 to $51 / hr + Pension & Benefits
Location : Barrie, ON
Shifts Available : Straight Day shift (Monday to Friday) 5 : 00am or 7 : 00am - 9 hour shift
We’re working with a large, reputable infrastructure manufacturer in the Simcoe County area that is hiring a licensed Heavy Equipment Technician or 310T Technician to join their skilled trades team.
This is a long-term opportunity with exceptional compensation, full benefits, and room to grow in a high-volume facility supporting critical infrastructure projects across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of mobile industrial equipment (excluding trucks), including :
Diesel-powered lift trucks, skid steers, loaders, and rolling stockGantry cranes (Mi-Jack) experience is considered an assetWork is primarily indoors in a large-scale, 24 / 7 facility (note : not temperature controlled)You’ll work independently and within a team to ensure all equipment remains operational and safe, supporting a high-output production environment.
Qualifications
Licensed 421A (Heavy Equipment Technician) or 310T (Truck & Coach Technician) with relevant equipment experiencePreference for candidates with strong electrical troubleshooting abilitiesFamiliarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding / fabrication is an assetAble to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain organized in a busy shop settingSolid communication skills and a safety-first approachWho This Role Is For
