Contract Position
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced BSA with strong testing experience to join our FIS Adaptiv team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining integrations between FIS Adaptiv and internal bank systems, working alongside the core vendor product team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing these critical banking system interfaces.
Project Background
This integration project involves working with FIS Adaptiv, a well-established system that has been operational for approximately 10 years. The role focuses on backend development and system integration, with no UI development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Design and implement integrations between FIS Adaptiv and internal bank systems
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures alongside the development team
Collaborate with the vendor product team and internal stakeholders
Implement and maintain backend systems integrations
Optimize system performance and memory usage
Work with highly normalized databases and structured data models alongside the development team.
Required Technical Skills
Extensive experience with SQL stored procedures and database optimization
Extensive experience in testing is a must and will be 50% of this position which will include regression testing, UAT, SIT etc.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise banking applications
Extensive experience in requirement gathering
Extensive in translating technical requirements for developers (Microsoft Environment)
Be able to do all the technical plumbing and connectivity during the upgrade (Do you have previous experience in this)
Must have experience in system integration
Be able to figure understand logic in. current environment
Understanding of Backend ETL
Process Development
Capital Markets Experience in Credit Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk
Knowledge of XML
Ideally have worked in Microsoft environment
50% role of this role be testing. Back Testing, Regression Testing, UAT Testing
Capital Market
There will be existing connectivity so the BSA will be looking at the vendor spec, looking for gaps, and then coming up with the requirements to make sure that development and technology can deliver that interface and connectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with FIS Adaptiv
Capital markets experience, particularly in Credit Risk, CCR, or Credit Derivatives
XML knowledge
Experience with structured data models
Background in financial services or banking sector
Understanding of banking logic in SQL Stored procedures
Ideally have worked in Microsoft environment
Experience Level
7+ years of relevant experience as Business Systems Analyst in Capital Markets
Proven track record of working on enterprise-level banking applications
Experience handling large datasets and complex data integrations

Hybrid working arrangement
Core office days : Every Thursday and the fourth Friday of each month
Team size : Working alongside a team of approximately 20 people
