Hays has partnered with a large sized master trader of non-ferrous products including aluminum & stainless steel, in all shapes & forms. Our client currently has three strategically located facilities in Canada & the USA which carry standard stock of aluminum coils, sheets, plates, extrusions and stainless steel sheets.

Your new role As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for the appropriate tracking and managing of stock levels for thepanies finished goods and raw materials across warehouses. You will be recording and managing inventory throughout the warehouse and its management system, updating reports to ensure accurate stock levels and facilitate shipping or production plans. Additionally, you will be reconciling stock levels, reporting any discrepancies as well as working with the inventory team to find and resolve any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintaining and updating records inventory daily in / out bound book.
• Weekly / Monthly inventory reconciliation with headquarter inventory team.
• Monthly physical inventory count and find the discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Developing inventory management procedures with warehouse team.
• Implement a loss prevention.
• Report any stock issues to accounting management and place product orders, as necessary.
