Treasury Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and analytically driven Treasury Analyst to support the company’s liquidity management, banking operations, and cash forecasting processes. This role is based in Ville Saint-Laurent and requires working from the office four days per week . The Treasury Analyst is responsible for executing payments, optimizing cash positioning, and delivering treasury reporting, while working closely with Accounting—who maintain full ownership of bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Liquidity & Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and update daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring sufficient funds for day-to-day operations.
• Assist in preparing short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts by gathering data and validating key assumptions with Finance and Operations.
• Highlight expected cash surpluses or shortfalls and support recommendations for intercompany funding, short-term investments, or credit facility drawdowns / repayments.
• Maintain up-to-date schedules of debt and interest payments, supporting tracking of credit facility utilization and upcoming maturities.
• Provide basic analysis on working capital drivers (collections, disbursements timing) and flag unusual trends to the Assistant-Treasurer.
