Continuing 0.429 FTE Salary : The starting annual salary for this part-time teaching position ranges from $27,180 to $47,963, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Benefits : We offer a competitive benefits package and pension. Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No.
5 (Southeast Kootenay).-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree / formal training and / or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Foods Teacher - Grades 7-10 (POSTING NUMBER T2425-093 - Round 2) 0.429 FTE continuing contract, starting September 3, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process.
Must have a degree / formal training and or teaching experience in Foods and Nutrition at the Secondary level. It would be considered an asset to have FOODSAFE certification.
This position is tentatively scheduled to include Foods 7, Foods 8 and Foods 9 / 10 courses. Please note that all work will be on site.
