Intermediate- Transportation Engineer

Our Roadway Engineering Team is looking for an  Intermediate Traffic Engineer  to join our growing  downtown Toronto, ON  office. Come join our team!

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop long-term career with experienced transportation professionals. You will be working with a highly functioning team and be responsible for providing traffic engineering services for a wide variety of projects. The range of opportunities will include municipal roadway and provincial highway projects, transit and rail projects, and transportation related facilities.

Working closely with our traffic engineering lead, you will have the opportunity to :

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Utilize knowledge of the design requirements of various approval authorities such as Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), regions and municipalities
• Conduct in-depth traffic assessments and impactful traffic analysis studies, shaping the planning and construction phases of projects.
• Engage in every stage of infrastructure projects - from brainstorming in the planning phase, crafting preliminary designs, to diving deep into detail design.
• Support preparing engineering drawings, sketches, layouts, etc.
• Attend internal and external meetings with multidisciplinary teams to identify issues and mitigation measures in order to satisfy approval requirements.
• Venture into site inspections and investigations
• Engage, discuss and strategize in both internal and external team meetings
