Your opportunity

Dillons Transportation Infrastructure Discipline is looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to fill an existing vacancy within our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while gaining valuable exposure and experience in the consulting engineering industry.

At Dillon we operate as one team. This position is available at our Kingston or London office.

Responsibilities

Design and Project Coordination

• Assist project managers with coordination of transportation projects
• Assist in the design of transportation projects including :
• Preliminary and Detailed design
• Engineering studies
• Technical report writing
• Technical specifications
• Design calculations
• Transportation drafting using CADD software
• Assist with site investigations and condition assessments
• Complete review of safe work practices and perform risk assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including engineers planners environmental scientists engineering technologists and administrative support staff

$20 / hr - $30 / hr

Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicants education experience and skills in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range contingent on factors unrelated to an applicants gender or other status protected by provincial and / or federal law.
