Our client has been a leader in the financial services industry for over 50 years providing investments, financial planning and consulting services to a specific market base that they share a strong mutual relationship with.
Our client provides its services throughout Ontario with its integrated network of Planners and Advisors based locally in all regions of the province.
This role offers a work from home environment, but you must be able to travel around the city of Toronto on a regular basis.
As a Financial Planner, you will be tasked with managing a book of business in Toronto, maintaining relationships with current clients and using your knowledge of the product offerings to provide additional value and grow the share of assets held by the firm.
You will be working with investment products and providing tailored solutions to help high-net worth clients achieve their financial goals.

Other Responsibilities :
- Developing meaningful relationships with clients and becoming their trusted Financial Planner.
- Retaining and growing share of wallet by delivering personalized financial solutions and advice.
- Preparing client asset allocation proposals and modular financial planning projections
- Responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Representing the firm at workshops, trade shows, seminars and events
- Collaborating with other members of the team to engage in the entire business development process, reviewing and adapting plans according to results and changing markets
Position Qualifications
- Post-secondary education (a college diploma or university degree)
- Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- Currently holding either a PFP or CFP designation
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Financial Planner, supported by demonstrated results
- Experience in preparing, developing and presenting financial plans to clients
- Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships with clients
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, French language skills are an asset
- Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
- Ability to work independently and possesses self -management skills to complete workload in a timely and accurate fashion while managing competing priorities
Salary $85,000 - $90,000 CAD plus discretionary annual bonus, 3 weeks vacation, full benefits, pension, and other perks.
