About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Senior Software Developer to join our team. This is a strategic individual contributor role that combines hands-on development with meaningful customer-facing responsibilities.

You will work across the full software development lifecycle while helping shape technical requirements and architecture for large customer deployments and roadmap-defining features. The ideal candidate has strong experience building scalable, secure systems and is comfortable collaborating directly with customers to define architecture and product direction. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and customer-driven solutions.

This role is currently remote, with the expectation of transitioning to a hybrid model in the Fredericton, New Brunswick region. Candidates must be based in (or willing to relocate to) the Fredericton area.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Architect scalable and secure RESTful APIs and backend services
• Build and optimize MS SQL Server databases, including advanced queries and stored procedures
• Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and architectural solutions
• Contribute to product planning and architecture discussions, translating business needs into practical solutions
• Work closely with Product, QA, and Customer Success teams
• Manage code using Git and CI / CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
• Use Visual Studio and PowerShell for development, debugging, deployment, and automation
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in daily work — required
• Develop a strong understanding of case management and FOI workflows, including legislative requirements
