BMO is currently sourcing for a Senior Project Controller to support the Treasury Payment Solutions team. This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (4 days in office per week).
Role Overview :
The Senior Project Controller will join a team under Commercial Bank Delivery, supporting Portfolio Leads with their Digital portfolios. The role involves general project administration, financial management, and stakeholder communications, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with general project administration tasks.
- Manage and track financial data and project budgets.
- Support the investigation and documentation of portfolio risks.
- Develop presentations and liaise with project managers for required inputs.
- Submit and track portfolio change requests and approvals.
- Contribute to the implementation of improvement opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for project resources, ensuring smooth transitions.
Must-Have Skills :
8-10 years of project coordinator / controller experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Strong organization and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Analytical thinker with attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.Ideal Candidate :
Experience in a Financial Institution.Familiarity with project management tools such as Clarity and PlanU.Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
