AZ Driver, Mississauga, Night Shift

AZ Driver Full Time $28.02/HourMississauga Ontario. Dedicated Route8pm to 6am Monday to Friday2 years of commercial driving experience -bombing tailgate deliveries using pump Couriers is looking for a motivated individual to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding fast-paced environment that requires driving lifting lowering and carrying packages to ensure damage free and Duties:Safely operating and maneuvering heavy trucks adhering to traffic laws and goods or materials over long distances or local routes ensuring on-time proper loading of cargo onto the truck securing it to prevent shifting or damage during cargo at delivery points verifying quantities against delivery unfamiliar routes confidently and efficiently to ensure timely pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck checking mechanical and safety systems (e.g. brakes tires lights).Reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to fleet management or maintenance accurate records of driving hours rest periods mileage and delivery effectively with dispatchers customers and colleagues regarding delivery schedules delays or excellent customer service during interactions with clients at delivery strictly to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and the security of any accidents incidents or safety violations you are: AZ License: 2 years (required)Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experienceClean driver abstracts and CVOR Commercial drivers licenseHave previous warehouse shipping/receiving responsibilities safely in accordance with company and self-starterExceptional communication and multi-tasking skillsComfortable meeting deadlinesComfortable and capable to lift up to 70 keep an organized and clean :Extended health benefits (prescription vision dental massage therapy mental health etc.)EAP ProgramPaid on-site routes for most positionsConsistent equipment for most positionsPermanent employmentPositive team-oriented and safe work environmentWhy us:Cardinal is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and committed to creating an inclusive environment.
