Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for acquiring and managing small-medium sized businesses in our service areas.
Identify and target new small and medium-sized business sales opportunities that close quickly for the highest revenue.
Collaborate with customer contacts in order to define needs and provide solutions.
Promote and maintain the organization's brand image and identity within the serving communities
Pursue contract renewals
Analyze and assess client results to ensure needs are being met.
Promote awareness of new products and services to accounts.
Post-Secondary education with a concentration in business, marketing or technology or equivalent work experience
1+ years of direct-selling experience.
Demonstrated ability to make sales deals with potential customers.
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and other stakeholders.
Experience at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions.
Experience selling multiple product / service lines.
Experience with internet / broadband / fibre services is an asset
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for this position
Strong communication and consultative skills (written and oral)
Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills and business acumen
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Keen attention to detail, analytical, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
