We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as an Assistant Store Manager.

THE DETAILS :

You'll be joining our Brossard team at Quartier DIX30, 8440 Boulevard Leduc Suite 10, Brossard, QC, in a full-time capacity

You'll assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and management of the sales team, and assume direct responsibility when the manager is not present

You'll work collaboratively with the manager to develop and implement action plans around budgeting

You'll help coach our sales team by educating around promotions, initiatives, products, and more

You'll actively engage with customers to ensure that their unique needs and inquiries are met and that they leave the store feeling positive about the experience

You'll put your creative skills to use & work with the team to maintain an organized, visually appealing store front

You'll work behind the scenes to maintain the client database, handle bank deposits, reconcile daily balance totals, and assist with payroll as needed

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :

Minimum three (3) years of retail experience is preferred, a combination of education and experience may be considered

Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or relevant field. Courses in Sales and Retail Customer Service would be a bonus

Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and STORIS)

Strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll need to be comfortable motivating, listening to, and coaching your team

A creative management style that you bring to solving everyday problems in the workplace

A high standard of quality when it comes to customer service, performance, accuracy, and sales goals

Familiarity with industry trends, market competition, and customer needs in a retail furniture environment
