Team :
ServiceNow conducts research to advance AI capabilities for enterprises. You will be part of the ServiceNow AI Research group in the Product organization.
Role :
As a manager, you will manage, coach and guide the researchers, specifically focusing on generative AI. You will suport the research lead of a research Lab or program in building the team’s roadmap and acheiving the teams goal Additionally, you may conduct your research or participate in ongoing research projects.
Your contributions to knowledge generation and transfer will help maintain our scientific credibility within the academic community and our impact on the ServiceNow products.
What you get to do in this role :
You will be responsible for managing a team of 5 to 10 researchers and engineers, in collaboration with the research leads.
You will be responsible of the growth, development and wellbeing of the team and will provide tactical and operational support to the research leads.
You will have the opportunity to conduct your own research or participate to transfer activities of the AI Research team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has :
- A Ph.D. in a related field is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on completing tasks and a drive to push the boundaries of knowledge and understanding.
- Experience in managing projects and people.
- An understanding and interest in software product development and innovation.
- A record of contributing to research communities and efforts, including publishing papers in top international conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, etc.
- Proficiency in scientific programming with Python and Numpy, and optionally, also with Java, JavaScript, or R.
- Proficiency in deep learning programming with Pytorch.
- An willingness to build a strong inclusive team culture.
