Bedford Parks Animal Hospital welcomes full-time or part-time Veterinary Technicians to join our vet tech team! We are considering dedicated individuals with a positive attitude, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. Have completed a Veterinary Technician program; eligible to register in Nova Scotia

New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!

Surgical preparation, assistance and patient recovery

Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records

Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Strong problem-solving aptitude, including the ability to ask clarifying questions to facilitate effective solution-finding

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents

About us :   Bedford Parks Animal Hospital is an easy commute from anywhere within Halifax Regional Municipality. Our new hospital has a large, bright, beautiful new space to work in!! We have been proudly an active member of our community in the Halifax Region since 2021 and strive to provide the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for small companion animals. Our hospital is within close proximity to 24 / 7 emergency clinic support; therefore no on-call, no overnights, no Sundays, and no holiday schedules! Nurturing a culture of collaboration and wellness if essential to our team.
