Wholesale Parts Advisor - St. James VW role at AutoCanada
Dealership: St. James VW | Location: Winnipeg, MB | Classification: Full-Time, Immediate Hire
Responsibilities
- Research and source parts for customers and technicians.
- Issue parts price quotes and sell parts to customers or service work orders.
- Complete special-order parts requests, communicate status, and notify customers upon delivery.
- Pick up parts for customers or technicians as required.
- Restock shelves and place warranty parts into appropriate bins.
- Keep work area and displays clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in dealership wholesale parts is an asset.
- Some familiarity and/or experience with working in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department.
- Completion of a related post‑secondary program or training courses is considered an asset.
- Experience with CDK is considered an asset.
- General understanding of Parts & Service operations and inventory management.
- Strong diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professionalism, high integrity, and consistent honor of commitments.
- Detail oriented, self‑motivated, and resourceful.
- High‑level skills in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
