Software Test Engineer (14-mo contract)

As a member of our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge technology in a fully agile environment. You will be expected to raise the quality bar in an already strong and energetic team, coming up with tools, techniques and approaches that improve the testability of our code. You will also develop automated tests from the unit level through to the API and even the UI layers, using C#, Javascript and a variety of tools, frameworks and test harnesses. Some manual testing may also be required depending on the nature of the functionality being tested.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new manual & automated tests using test‑driven approaches
• Design and develop tools, techniques and utilities to facilitate testing
• Devise mocks, fakes, stubs etc. to improve testability and isolation of code
• Perform code and unit test reviews with developers
• Monitor code coverage metrics and report on trends
• Monitor automated regression testing results and report on trends
• Maintain existing test automation code
• Thrive in a team environment and be comfortable working with remote team members across different time zones and geographies
• Become an expert in the domain of your team
