As a Senior Product Development Advisor for drug coverage in group insurance, you're responsible for supporting the sectors with our existing offers and working closely with product managers to oversee our offer on an ongoing basis.

You'll also help develop existing products and services by managing and delivering updates and innovations. You'll do so by serving as an integrator and a coordinator for various project-based working groups.

More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Analyze and perform diagnostics, propose and recommend positions on products and services, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of highly complex products and services, sometimes with virtually no existing models, usually in project-based settings.
  • Serve as an integrator and coordinator for projects with various work groups.
  • Lead the design, implementation and execution phases for product and service development.
  • Represent your team and / or business line as a subject matter expert on large-scale projects.
  • Manage shared inbox by supporting the sectors with complex requests related to the service offer.
  • Serve as resource person and coach in your field of expertise.
  • Represent your unit before decision-making bodies within the organization.
  • Communicate Desjardins Group's position to external partners and organizations.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in group insurance, primarily in drug coverage and various provincial plans
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience in product development
  • Experience in a role requiring innovation skills
  • Proven project management and delivery experience involving coordination of actors in multiple sectors
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and / or clients
