Responsibilities
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical components
- Testing circuits and connections using electrical test equipment
- Inspecting equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are completed, while adhering to timelines and budget restrictions
- Responsible for ordering electrical parts
- Preparation and site clean-up, including rubbish removal
- Proficient with building code regulations as it relates to worksite building electrical assembly and repairs
- Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation as per process / protocol to ensure cost effectiveness and budget allocation
- Provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and stakeholder expectations
- Understand the basics of reading and interpreting blueprints
- Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and support monthly work-site inspections
- Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures
- Notify Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment
- Report all incidents and accidents immediately
- Actively participate as a high performing, team member
Required Knowledge & Experience
Minimum of one (3) year working in a construction field electrician in a camp environmentCertified Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) required.Solid verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAbility to work a rotation schedule.Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedulePhysically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbsAble to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical laborAbility to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 - 12 hour shiftHow to Apply
