Job description

Mandatory Skills :

MEDITECH Expanse WPL Experience :

  • Recent design and build experience in MEDITECH Expanse WPL (v2.2 preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse and how it integrates with other systems.

Healthcare IT Systems Expertise :

  • Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in healthcare, with a focus on IT systems and operational support.
  • Understanding of the healthcare environment, including clinical and operational workflows.
  • Project Management Skills :

  • 10+ years of experience managing projects to implement business systems, specifically within healthcare or EHR (Electronic Health Records) implementations.
  • Proven ability to oversee and coordinate tasks, track progress, and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Clinical EHR Implementation :

  • Experience in optimizations related to clinical EHR implementations , especially in a large, complex healthcare setting.
  • Ability to design and build test cases, conduct application and integration testing, and follow test scripts.
  • Risk & Issue Management :

  • Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage and resolve issues in a timely manner, with escalation through governance processes.
  • Knowledge Transfer & Mentorship :

  • Proven experience in knowledge transfer to internal resources, ensuring long-term sustainability and internal capacity building.
  • Ability to mentor internal staff and ensure effective onboarding of new resources.
  • Communication Skills :

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English .
  • Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including the Transformation Management Office (TMO), project managers, and resource teams.
  • Tool Expertise :

  • Familiarity with tools like Meditech Expanse and Jira .
  • Strong skills in developing, maintaining, and adjusting project and resource plans using project management tools.
  • Governance & Project Reporting :

  • Ability to create clear, transparent project reporting, ensuring alignment with approved project plans, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Regular participation in governance and project meetings.
  • PMP Certification (Preferred) :

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is an asset.
