Job Description

The Lead, Proposals Management is responsible for the development and leadership of the Proposals Team, consisting of a combination of Specialists, Coordinators, and Administrators as applicable. In collaboration with the Contract Management Lead the Leads will collectively drive the team in the execution of winning proposals, salesforce administration and corresponding reporting, and associated responsibilities or tasks. The Proposal Management Lead will also be responsible for the completion of complex proposals and support the negotiation of winning opportunities with clients. This position reports to the Director of Business Development.

What would you be doing?

  • Lead and manage the Proposals Team, mentoring and developing team members to enhance technical and strategic competencies.
  • Strategically allocate proposal resources, oversee high-quality proposal submissions, and ensure compliance with FLINT Gate review processes.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and Executives to align on win strategies and proposal plans, providing leadership and stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage the review, approval, and strategic alignment of proposal content with company goals, while reporting insights to Senior and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee content management, maintain proposal software, coordinate with the Contract Management Lead, and administer the Salesforce database.

  • Strong leadership, team-building abilities, and effective communication for goal alignment and feedback.
  • Proficient in scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation, ensuring smooth project progress and collaboration.
  • Solid business acumen with expertise in data and financial analytics, business writing, and effective organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong documentation and time management abilities in fast-paced environments.
