QA Automation Consultant – ERP / D365 Transformation

We are seeking a QA Automation Consultant to support a large-scale ERP transformation centered on Microsoft Dynamics . This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across D and Microsoft Power Apps solutions while helping transition the organization’s testing approach from SmartBear tooling to Leapwork.

The ideal candidate brings strong ERP testing experience, hands-on automation expertise, and proven success implementing Leapwork in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts supporting ERP and D implementations
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for Power Apps and D modules
• Lead and support the transition of test automation tooling from SmartBear to Leapwork
• Develop reusable test assets, regression suites, and automation best practices
• Collaborate with ERP delivery teams, business analysts, developers, and release management teams
• Support end-to-end testing including functional, integration, regression, and UAT support
• Identify test coverage gaps and recommend automation opportunities
• Ensure testing aligns with enterprise QA standards, governance, and release processes
• Support CI/CD integration of automated testing pipelines

Required Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of QA and test automation experience
• Hands-on experience testing Microsoft Dynamics implementations
• Strong automation testing experience with Microsoft Power Apps
• Proven implementation experience with Leapwork automation platform
• Experience migrating or modernizing test automation frameworks
• Experience performing ERP functional and integration testing
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery environments
• Strong defect management and test documentation experience

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large ERP transformation or modernization programs
• Experience integrating automation into DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
• Knowledge of data validation and backend integration testing
• Experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar
