Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues in HVAC equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on HVAC units to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and ventilation systems as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system issues, maintenance, and repair options.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory of parts and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC preferred.
Red Seal Certification or equivalent HVAC certification is an asset.
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical controls.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service and communication abilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment
Work may involve lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
Must follow safety protocols at all times.
