Our client is a well-established customized food processing and packagingpanies in Canada and has a job open for Food Processing Pricing Analyst for their made-to-order, custom-made B2B food processing business. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports.
All candidates must be current in data analytics / financial modelling / data analytics / advanced Excel, Power BI and similar and have excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills in English (no exceptions).
Food Processing Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing current and historical pricing models, will keep up with the industry changes in fuel costs, tariffs, duties, labour, material costs and other high-impact items in a made-to-order food processing site. You will work closely with sales to initiate pricing estimation / assist with quotes and estimates and work closely with departments to ensure vendor control / costs and lead times. You will maintain all Master Data for price changes, work closely with R&D and NPI for new product pricing in this fast-paced food processing model. You will drive profitable growth through strategic pricing initiatives, lead data-driven insights and advanced analytics to optimize pricing across markets and product segments, working closely with Sales, Finance, Product Management and champion value-based pricing methodologies, national account price adjustments and support the development of AI-driven pricing models. Your role will also involve continuous improvement, collaboration and seeking opportunities to streamline pricing processes, automate workflows and reduce manual work.
Food Processing Pricing Analyst will have excellent Englishmunication skills (verbal and written – no exceptions), a minimum 3–4 years of pricing experience from the food / beverage / OTC health & beauty / CPG industry (MUST have). Experience with manufacturing using labour costs, materials, transportation, and packaging models is a MUST.
A bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, and courses in pricing is a strong asset. A deep understanding of pricing theory and proven success in implementing pricing strategies inplex manufacturing environments is a MUST. Proficiency in pricing software and tools, strong analytical skills, financial modelling expertise and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential. Experience in B2B manufacturing environments is food processing / packaging / health & beauty / CPG is a MUST – no exceptions.
