As an associate, you’llwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Play an essential role as part of a teamworking on a particular transaction (sale, merger and acquisition (M&A) and / or financing) or business development efforts (pitches)

Conductthoroughresearch on companies and industries, supporting the team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients

Assisting in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials (teaser, confidential information memorandum (CIM), management presentation, etc.)

Obtainneeded information fromavailable client data and conductappropriatefinancialanalysis

Preparefinancialmodels to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation,identifying key strategic & financialbuyers and managing the transaction’sstatus reports and more

Work extendedhours on an as needed basis

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and / or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada

Completion or progression toward a finance or accountingdesignation (CPA, CBV, CFA, MSc or MBA) would be an asset

Relevant workexperience in financial services accounting, commercial banking, or investmentbankingwouldbe an asset

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) and Capital IQ

Comprehensivefinancial and accountingskills and understanding of cash flow, financialmodelling and valuation methodologies

Eager to participate in business developmentopportunities and initiatives

A proactive and dedicated self-starter whois quick to learn and apply new concepts with a demonstratedability to becreative and effective in issue resolution

Ability to take initiative to managenumerousprojectssimultaneouslyunder time constraints
