We are immediately seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join our team at the Coast Kamloops Hotel & Conference Centre. This unique individual must possess excellent communication skills in customer relations to positively impact existing relationships and target new business. They will develop and solidify relationships to boost hotel sales and customer satisfaction.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Target new business opportunities through direct outside sales efforts
• Build and maintain relationships within all markets for both individual and group travel. This includes upkeep of our database to share efforts, successes and further opportunities with the greater sales team
• Develop and promote product image and awareness thru direct marketing campaigns and attendance of key market tradeshows and events
• Gain knowledge of hotel’s opportunities through successfully collaborating with catering sales
• Gain knowledge of all hotels in our portfolio and cross-sell at any opportunity
• Prepare sales proposals & contracts to clients incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions
• Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers, prospecting, selling and follow up
• Maintain a clear line of communication with other team members to ensure success in guest satisfaction
• Respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers with clear and concise communications
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs
